What is
Pages for the Ages?
Pages for the Ages (PFTA), a program of the Winter Park Institute, is an intergenerational learning and community engagement initiative that brings together high school students, college students, senior citizens, and community members through books, conversation, and shared learning. Through student-led chapters and community partnerships, PFTA creates meaningful opportunities for generations to connect, learn from one another, and build more compassionate, connected communities.

Participants engage with carefully selected books, articles, TED Talks, and other shared learning experiences centered on themes such as well-being, education, belonging, leadership, community, and humanity's greatest needs.
Students, senior citizens, and community members gather in small groups to discuss ideas, exchange experiences, and learn from one another through meaningful dialogue.
Through recurring conversations, participants develop relationships, strengthen leadership and communication skills, and contribute to more connected and compassionate communities.
